Position Title: Senior Artist

External Description:

Partnered Development Group (PDG) is a new team built from the ground up to manage 2nd Party development (IP-licensed dev and outsourced dev) end-to-end, from sourcing opportunities, guiding development, and leading go-to-market and live service efforts. We work with a handful of top-tier mobile studios, combining EA's IP with partners to accelerate the development of a portfolio of hit mobile games to grow EA's mobile footprint. The nucleus of our team is based in Asia – but we are expanding across geographies to guide global LiveOps and publishing for our mobile slate.

We are looking for artists to help develop multiple AAA mobile game projects, reporting to Art Director.

Role Description:

  • You will collaborate with Art Directors to establish artistic direction and coordinate the artistic vision of the development team to meet EA's review standards.
  • You will collaborate with EA internal and partner dev team Art Directors, to align the artistic vision of the development team with multiple project directions by providing professional art feedback and benchmark cases.
  • You will provide visual guidance and inspiration for partner developers.
  • You will stay updated on the latest developments in game art and technology to provide solutions for different situations encountered during development.
  • You will participate in the construction of internal art teams.

Qualifications:

  • Have 3+ years of experience in game art production and multiple development skills (familiar with mainstream game engines, proficient in providing art- related solutions, able to create different types of assets, not limited to modeling or animation).
  • Participation as a primary member in at least two launched products.
  • Need to have experience creating art assets and must be proficient in some basic tools (such as: 3DsMax or Maya, Blender, Photoshop)
  • Experience portraying characters' physical forms and portraits, with good understanding of human anatomy.
  • Experience producing content in different styles, not limited to traditional Chinese IP styles and anime.
  • "Internationalized" aesthetic, understanding of art fundamentals and culture, able to capture patterns in different art cultures, and apply them in product development.
  • Lots of personal portfolio demonstrating your business capabilities.
  • Structured documenting skill, experience using management tools.
