Job Location: You will work in Shanghai, China.

You will report to a senior technical director.

Responsibilities

• You will oversee mobile (iOS and Android) engine development as an individual contributor. Ensure architecture and implementation meet product requirements across the entire system.
• You will scout for and evaluate new technology and tools as opportunities for innovation and development excellence.
• Targeting to champion quality and performance. You will define uncompromising target metrics and create processes and culture to exceed them.
• You will Help identify technical risks and mitigation plans.
• You will Communicate technical architecture, strategy, details, and status to non-technical team members.
• You will share knowledge internally. Apply lessons learned by other teams and align with the broader EA's technology portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
• 10+ years of game industry technical experience.
• 3+ years in software development leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of C++ or Java and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Broad knowledge of and experience in game development with one of the platforms, mobile, PC, or console.
• Broad knowledge of and experience in game systems development, and master solid understanding of tech domains: operation systems, network protocols, programming, and profiling skills.
• Strong knowledge of memory management, multiple processor use, and runtime optimization.
• Strong experience in distributed server and cloud technologies.
• Understanding multiple cloud platforms' usage.
• Good writing and reading skills in English
