Position Title: Brand Manager I

External Description:

Join us as Brand Partnerships Manager, on the EA SPORTS FC Franchise Marketing team. The Brand Partnerships team within the Franchise Marketing team partners with the Studio, Strategy, and Commercial teams to:

  • You will be responsible for Brand Partnerships activations both in-game and global in-market campaigns.
  • Operate as a touchpoint, ensuring all teams are driving together towards a singular long-term vision. 
  • Manage our Brand partners and be the contact with all internal or external teams required to complete our Brand Partner campaigns, including daily communications, briefing, execution, reporting and activity tracking.

What you will work on:

  • You will lead in-market brand partner campaigns working with multiple teams such as Athlete Marketing, Integrated Communications, Creative, Production and Regional Marketing teams to execute campaigns with our brand partners that engage and excite global football fans.
  • You will work with the FC studio to develop Brand Partner experiences in-game that meet our partnership goals & oversee the in-game execution of these experiences, working with the relevant teams to bring them to life.
  • You will work with EA SPORTS FC Regional Marketing teams on regional brand partnership opportunities when relevant.
  • You will work with the Growth Platform marketing leads to extend relevant brand partner projects to FC Mobile, FC Pro, or FC Online.
  • You will manage approvals with brand partners on in-game and in-market activations.
  • You will manage internal operational responsibilities related to brand partner activations, including approvals with legal, finance, and business affairs.
  • You will work with our teams to provide reporting and postmortem analyses on in-game brand partner activations.
  • You will manage Brand Partnerships tracker with status updates and communication of risks/opportunities to the team.

Who you will work with:

You will be part of the central team (who are based in Vancouver, Canada), but you will also partner with our global teams in the rest of Europe and North America, including teams such as Development, Media, Creative, Strategy, Franchise Strategy and Athlete Marketing.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years product marketing or brand marketing experience.
  • Experience driving collaboration across Product, Commercial, and Marketing teams.
  • Experience in marketing to multiple consumer demographics, especially with football fans, is valued. Preference for working in a large football market.
  • Experience partnering with a product development team to make insight informed decisions that satisfy prioritised consumer motivations.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
  • English is the required language of work.
  • Have an interest in football (soccer) and EA SPORTS FC.

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $89,300 - $123,000 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
