As a Senior Activity Designer, you will plan, implement, and balance core activities in skate. Senior Activity Designers at Full Circle collaborate with a cross-discipline activities team responsible for creating activities that engage players with goals that offer a compelling player experience and tie into the broader progression of the game. You will drive a design process that relies on providing and receiving feedback internally and externally. We are looking for competency with a broad range of activities in a live game.

As a Senior Activity Designer reporting to the Lead Activity Designer you will:

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and, maintain compelling activities and goals for players

  • Help guide the design and vision of activity content so it meets player experience and engagement targets

  • Communicate and represent the activity vision and design to the activities and supporting teams

  • Collaborate with other disciplines teams regarding activity implementation, quality, and tuning

  • Attend playtests, provide feedback, and identify practical solutions to problems

  • Work with production to prioritize, and complete design work

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience shipping multiple titles as a game designer working on activity, mission, or quest-based content

  • Experience designing activities, missions, or quests in a live game environment

  • Experience using in-engine scripting tools to author and modify in-game logic

  • Strong interest in skate. and sandbox games with an understanding of how they work

  • Passion for fostering an inclusive and diverse, 'team-first' culture based on fun.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

º $103,200 - $145,600 USD Annually
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $92,600 - $145,600 USD Annually
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $117,300 - $145,600 USD Annually
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $111,800 - $151,800 USD Annually
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $92,600 - $135,600 USD Annually
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $89,300 - $123,000 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
