Role:
At EA, Associate Designers working with our live service teams, are responsible for driving the day-to-day creative work that keeps our games fun, fresh and engaging.
How would your day look like:
- Create great content – Our AGD works with the members of their team to create live content that delights our players.
- Ensure the highest quality – Testing your creations and working with the QA team to make sure things do what they are supposed to do.
- Work with other designers to help develop and refine game concepts, mechanics, and features. They might contribute ideas, provide feedback, and assist in the implementation of design elements.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design documentation, including game design documents (GDDs), and design briefs.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, and contribute fresh ideas and perspectives to the team.
Who fits the bill:
- Strong passion for games and a deep understanding of game mechanics and player psychology.
- You will be reporting to the Senior Game Designer.
- Knowledge on top mobile games and live games in general
- 1-2 years of experience working with live games and tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in game design tools and software, such as Unity and spreadsheet.
- Experience with game development processes and methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Car knowledge and interest in car racing sports is highly desirable.
