Here amongst the boutique shops and independent cafes and bars is the stunning Playdemic studio. Acquired by EA in 2021, Playdemic is home to the top 10 grossing, BAFTA-winning mobile smash – Golf Clash. Having opened at the beginning of 2020, our award-winning, bespoke studio space offers conventional desk space as well as indulgent breakout areas, meeting rooms and alternative workspaces. The office has been ridgeline-designed to create an environment that encourages and allows our team to do their very best work.

 

We're looking for a highly motivated Senior 3D Artist to join the team at Electronic Arts Playdemic! This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced team of artists and animators working on the BAFTA award winning mobile game; Golf Clash and help drive our Live Operations content.

 

Responsibilities:

  • You will work closely with the Art Director and execute the creative vision effectively across the 3D art team.
  • You will mentor mid-level and junior level artists to inspire and push quality levels.
  • You will create high quality game-ready production assets based on own designs/concepts (including but not limited to custom golf ball designs, custom golf tees, and a wide variety of props etc.)
  • You will follow production pipelines, ensure production art is created efficiently for mobile platform and effectively integrated into the game.
  • Strong understanding and execution of 3D art creation in 3DS MAX
  • Ability to create efficient, high-quality art assets for use in mobile gaming.
  • General understanding of custom shaders.
  • Strong understanding of PBR workflow.
  • Strong understanding of 2D design and ability to convey through concepts when
  • asked.
  • Good Understanding of graphic design.
  • Passionate about sport titles
