Position Overview

Our mobile team is looking for a Layout Artist to bring both their and creative visual sense to the EA Sports Mobile Team! The Layout Artist will report directly to Art Lead in FC Mobile located in Kuala Lumpur.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design web page layout and user interfaces using best practices in typography, color theory, graphic design, and usability.
  • Develop mockups, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Collaborate with the web development team to ensure accurate translation of designs into functional web applications.
  • Rapidly iterate and develop solutions to design challenges while following creative and art direction.
  • Provide design support to other team members as needed.
  • You will deliver high quality and optimized 2D UI assets.
  • You will stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure EA branded games are of high quality.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Web Layout Artist, Web Designer, or similar role with a strong portfolio of design projects.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and other visual design tools.
  • Excellent understanding of web design principles, typography, color theory, and web standards.
  • Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps.
  • Proficiency in responsive design principles and the ability to design for various devices and screen sizes.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
  • Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or relevant field.
  • A passion for playing and making great games!
