Position Title: Data Scientist II

We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to developing and deploying Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs). 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement advanced NLP and LLM models to solve complex business problems, enhancing our understanding of user behavior and improving the gaming experience. 
  • Lead data science projects from conception to completion, overseeing all aspects including data collection, model development, validation, and deployment. 
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate their needs into data science projects. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and designers, to implement machine learning solutions and integrate them into our products. 
  • Communicate complex data science concepts and project outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest NLP, LLMs, and machine learning advancements, and apply this knowledge to our projects. 
  • Contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining our machine learning infrastructure, ensuring our models are scalable, reliable, and efficient. 
  • Conducted complex data analysis and reported on results. 
    Continuously evaluate the performance of our models and make improvements as necessary. 
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of learning and sharing. 

Qualifications: 

  • A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field. 
  • Strong knowledge of NLP and experience working with LLMs. 
  • A minimum of 5 years of data science experience, focusing on NLP and LLMs. 
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn. 
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Jax, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. 
  • Proven experience developing, validating, and deploying machine learning models at scale. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically, creatively, and strategically. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely. 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in mentoring or leading a team. 
  • Interest in gaming is a big plus.
