Report into Automation Tech Lead

Responsibilities

  • Develop automated tests in Unreal and other technologies.

  • Monitor and improve testing pipelines and tests to ensure performance and reliability.

  • Investigate, isolate, and debug test runs and failures.

  • Collaborate with Development, QE, and QA.

  • Communicate challenges and achievements.

  • Help guide early testing (Shift-Left) through automation.

  • Investigate new automated test technologies and techniques.

 

Qualifications

  • Technical programming degree/certificate or 1+ year of programing experience.

  • Understanding of software development processes and best practices.

  • Understanding of Agile practices.

  • Understanding of QA and testing methodologies.

  • Experience with Gaming Engines and Toolsets (Ex: Unreal) - Asset.

  • Understanding of automated testing, testing patterns, and test optimization - Asset.

  • Experience participating in any personal video game projects - Asset.
