EA's India studio is on the lookout for a Quality Designer to join our dynamic team. Operating within a hybrid remote work model, we offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of high-quality mobile gaming experiences. Collaborate with a talented team that has contributed to top-10 freemium iOS games like Covet Fashion, Design Home, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, and Diner Dash Adventures. Responsibilities:

  • Enhance Quality Throughout the Game Cycle: Leverage our in-depth game domain knowledge to develop end-to-end quality plans, ensuring a positive player experience.
  • Build Test Strategies: You will lead the execution of test strategies, ensuring test coverage and early identification and resolution of issues during development.
  •  Management and Risk Assessment: You will help in designing strategies for lasting solutions and risk mitigation, preserving quality standards and facilitating change without compromising outcomes.
  • Promote Technical Implementations: Identify automation opportunities and guide tech changes, evaluating scope, priority, and Return on investment to improve testing efficiency.
  • Create Comprehensive Test Strategies: Develop test strategies and plans for pack releases, incorporating different testing methods motivated by data and Risk-Based Testing (RBT) principles.
  • Analyze and Highlight Risks: You will conduct detailed analysis, identifying potential gaps in the testing process and using test data to emphasize risks and their possible effects.
  • Insightful Reporting: Provide impactful reporting and insights, validating metrics at the product level to lead quality enhancement.
  • Project Management Expertise: Employ project management skills to meticulously plan and accomplish test strategies and tasks using Scrum/Agile methodologies.

What you'll be making:

You'll be instrumental in:

  • Enhance the player experience by guiding quality excellence.
  • Develop test strategies that ensure game quality across multiple platforms.
  • Identify risks and provide applicable insights.
  • Improve automation and enhance testing efficiency.

How success will be measured:

  • The effectiveness of test strategies and coverage.
  • Identification and resolution of issues in early development stages.
  • Impactful insights and reporting validated at the product level.
  • Successful mitigation of risks and change management.
  • Efficiency gains through automation and technical implementations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including test planning.
  • Experience with quality assurance techniques, testing, and automation frameworks, coupled with expertise in multiple test methodologies.
  • Leadership in QA, orchestrating end-to-end test strategies for product development.
  • Experience navigating complexity and scale in quality verification processes while managing change.
  • Use tools, technology, automation, and data to improve test efficiency.
  • Incorporate the industry's latest and best practices into QA approach.

Reporting: You'll be reporting to QV Director for mentorship and guidance.
