We are looking for a Principal Quality Designer to join our team.
The ideal Principal Quality Designer is a leader who can guide the evolution of the Quality Design craft, the role, and the practices. You will help build, lead, and support the Quality Design community and look for new opportunities to drive the craft forward.
Responsibilities
- You will collaborate with business or global leaders to drive strategic innovation within quality verification strategies.
- Communicate with the team and leadership. and partners; connect daily tasks to organization goals; support our long-term strategy.
- Renders and redefines existing frameworks, strategies, or methodologies leveraging industry model standards and driving their adoption with the organization.
- Partner with senior leaders within or outside the organization to align, plan or redefine existing planning procedures, strategies, or roadmaps.
- Improve new ways of designing tests and test plans, pioneering industry-leading methods in strategies, technologies, and tools.
- Contrasts and leverages industry-wide trends and quality data points to drive organizational change through continuous business insights.
- Promotes, defines, and drives domain expertise across the organization about our products, automated tools, and technology, frameworks, and methodologies
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of management and team leadership experience.
- Education requirement University degree, bachelor's or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in games or software development quality assurance.
- Established change manager, you excel at the opportunity to solve business issues through strategic vision and process improvement.
- Experience using data to contribute to product quality and project efficiency, effective at understanding. dashboards and measurements to support the needs.
- Experience building and mentoring inspired teams.

• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $162,300 - $213,300 USD Annually
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $162,300 - $230,150 USD Annually
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $134,250 - $202,100 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
