Position Title: Financial Analyst

External Description:

Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team provides strategic partnership to leaders across EA. We do this by engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, analyzing data, and delivering insights to help guide EA’s performance.

As a Financial Analyst, you will report to a Senior Finance Manager. You will be a collaborative partner and trusted advisor within the Create organization at EA. Create is a leading content development organization in the games industry, and we are excited for you to come join us!

What you will do:

  • You will support the Capture, Animation, Audio and Rigging teams within the Create and Shared Services organizations
  • You will form strategies, to promote business success
  • You will play an independent advisory role, and challenge business to improve efficiency
  • You will provide insights and influence business direction
  • You will present to multiple leadership teams

What we're looking for:

Financial Control – Consolidations, Budgeting, Forecasting and Monthly Reporting.

  • Build budgets, forecasts, and annual plans
  • Report out month-end, and quarter-end results
  • Identify business risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze, assumptions, and data to create insights
  • Report on performance indicators

Skills we want you to have:

  • A team player able to work collaboratively, within the group as an expert, project manager, and partner
  • Technical skills - finance principles and processes and ability to maintain complex spreadsheet models
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
  • Summarize information to create conclusions, alternatives and recommendations
  • Comfortable working with and presenting to senior management
  • Technical skills - would be great if you knew some Power BI

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • 1+ years of direct FP&A experience in a divisional or corporate finance role
