We are excited to open a brand-new chapter on our journey with the establishment of the Kuala Lumpur EA FIFA Mobile Team which will become an integral part of the global EA FIFA Mobile development team.

Location & work model: Onsite in Kuala Lumpur

We're looking for a dedicated Lead Game Content Designer who excels in development and live service environments. As a Lead Game Content Designer, you'll be an important member of the team shaping our games to satisfy our player community with a mind towards driving commercial success on a free-to-play business model.

As a necessary member of the team, you need to have a mix of game content design and management experience in the mobile game industry. You will work with the other functional leads to lead the team in the game content for the FIFAMobile game. You will become the game content contact point of the FIFA Mobile team, for both internal and external partners. You will report to the Senior Live Producer.

Responsibilities

  • You will work with the Live Producer to establish strategic content roadmaps and plans for EA Sports FIFAMobile live services
  • You will lead a subset of the live services on FIFA Mobile and its teams, understanding the what and the why, how to measure its success, and frequently communicating status
  • You will work with the live producer and lead the creation of game events; Create concepts and documentation, drive the review process, and lead the execution
  • You will translate real-world football events into live game events, which may sometimes require flexible work hours to mirror real-world football calendars
  • You will review builds and oversee the quality of implementation
  • You will use data insights to create live services goals that focus on improving the player experience, game health, and business growth (acquisition, retention, and monetization)
  • You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and timeliness of all deliverables are met

Qualifications

  • 4 or more years of game content design experience
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel function to organize data
  • Passion for football and deep insights to football culture/community
  • In-depth knowledge of the mobile free-to-play gaming market
  • English communication skills - both verbally and written
  • Chinese Mandarin proficiency will be a big plus
  • Experience with international teams and willing to travel internationally
