Here amongst the boutique shops and independent cafes and bars is the stunning Playdemic studio. Acquired by EA in 2021, Playdemic is home to the top 10 grossing, BAFTA winning mobile smash – Golf Clash. Having opened at the beginning of 2020, our award-winning, custom studio space offers conventional desk space and indulgent breakout areas, meeting rooms and alternative workspaces. The office has been designed to create an environment that encourages and allows our team to do their very best work.
We are looking for a Game Director to lead the Golf Clash team! Reporting to the Executive Producer, you will oversee all aspects of new features and live-op content creation to make sure we exceed our commercial goals and provide high quality, fun new experiences to our players. You will have experience delivering service-based games, with a Product Management background. You will also understand the disciplines that come together to make successful, hit games. We can offer hybrid working within this role.
Responsibilities:
- Ultimate responsibility for delivering all game services & updates.
- Strategic Planning with important partners including Studio Leadership.
- Lead the game team to deliver excellence and improve quality for players.
- Always monitor game Indicators, looking for impactful opportunities.
- Provide guidance to line managers for resource and people management.
- Owner of the Product Roadmap.
Must Haves:
- Previous Product Management experience.
- Track record creating and leading the development Product Roadmap.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven product design.
- Experienced with Product Vision prioritisation processes.
- Experienced with live service development operations.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and projects.
- Experience presenting decks to several partners.
Bonus Points:
- Managed live service mobile (or console) games, having delivered and maintained at least one game through the entire product life cycle.
- Experience designing content, campaigns and features that maximise acquisition, engagement, and monetization throughout the product life cycle.
- Obtain insights and develop strategies through analytical metrics-driven analysis and design experimentation.
