Role Overview:

The Strategic Character Initiatives Team is where creativity and innovation come to life. We're looking for a talented Sr. Character Artist who wants to make a real impact on the future of gaming. This team is responsible for special projects that will shape the look and feel of characters in our games, as well as the tools and technology used to create them. With partnerships across global R&D groups, central engineering teams, Frostbite, and game titles within Sports, you'll collaborate with some of the best minds in the industry.

Your Responsibilities :

As a Sr. Character Artist on the Strategic Character Initiatives Team, you will use your extensive knowledge of anatomy and passion for realism to revolutionize the way player avatars are created in our games. By applying cutting-edge internally-developed technology, DCC-apps like Maya, Painter, Photoshop, and ZBrush, you'll play a key role in building an avatar system capable of creating millions of real people's likenesses with ease. Working closely with our Principal Character Director, you will strive for excellence and push the boundaries of what's possible to bring our characters to life. Your Qualifications

We're looking for someone with 7+ years of experience in modeling and character art, a Bachelor's degree or higher, and a portfolio that showcases your realistic character art. You should have experience working with diverse teams consisting of technical artists, artists, and engineers and a deep understanding of human anatomy, hair grooming, clothing construction, proportion, silhouette, and topology. You should also have experience preparing assets for physical simulations such as cloth and hair, and be able to document workflows that will be used by our teams.
