EA Create Audio is an award-winning team creating audio content for numerous titles focused on uniting creative talents and technical expertise to guide industry-leading audio. There are many exciting projects underway and we produce progressive audio content for in-game products from multiple studio locations.
Role Overview
EA Create Audio is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Audio Artist with technical proficiency who can make an immediate contribution to our team supporting and development for NHL. You have experience in all phases of audio design and production, with proficiency in voice production, editing, and implementation. You will work within the EA Create Audio team and have an intermediate understanding of game development. You have a passion for video games and an overwhelming desire to create an outstanding audio experience.
Responsibilities:
- Record, Edit and or Master VO sessions
- Audio post-production for in-game video content
- Create quality audio assets following the vision and goals of the title
- Submit final audio files on or before required deadlines
- Work with large volumes of files/samples
- Organize in-game VO assets per naming convention protocols
- Quality control review of the project(s)
- Work remotely and work under time constraints
Qualifications and what you will need:
- 3+ years of Game Audio or Post-Production experience
- Expert in at least one DAW (e.g. Pro Tools/Reaper/Wavelab)
- Is comfortable with modern audio creation equipment, software, recording, and mastering techniques
- Experience with noise reduction software (Izotope RX) and dialogue restoration
- Experience with ADR
- Basic experience with Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
- Asset management skill
- Solid knowledge of PC hardware and software
- Collaborate well as part of a team
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Proficient in using audio development tools, technology, and pipelines. (e.g. Wwise/Fmod/Unreal/Unity)
- Experience with Perforce
- Basic knowledge of scripting language
- Basic knowledge of data sorting and macros
- Speech/VO design skills
