Position Title: Senior Analyst

External Description:

We are looking for a Senior Analyst within the EA Central Mobile Analytics team. This is an important position that will work with partners on both central and studio teams, with technical and business partners to guide important strategic data projects across EA's Mobile portfolio, to not just transform how we think about data at EA but also to guide both games and central partners to success. You will manage analytical projects to develop data products and scorecards, perform data mining, collaborate with engineers to build out reporting pipelines on central and portfolio level, work across multiple data stack and paradigms to perform analysis on impactful mobile strategic areas to empower data democratization within EA Mobile.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will report to the Analytics Manager of Central Mobile
  • You will work with team members to understand problem statements and to build data solutions/products with a clear set of realistic, achievable goals that will address the underlying business challenges
  • You will be leveraging several analysis and forecasting techniques (e.g. prescriptive and predictive), data mining and model trends in our data to make relevant recommendations
  • You will partner with game team analysts and BI/Engineering to build scalable dashboards and data pipelines that can be easily maintained by our BI tool (Looker, Tableau) and automate workflows
  • You will develop detailed knowledge of the underlying data assets and data products and provide subject matter expertise on content, current and potential future uses of data

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in the field of Business Analytics, Statistics, Applied Math or related field
  • 3+ years experience in data analysis, analytics, data science, or business intelligence
  • Proficiency in modern ETL frameworks, pipelines using AWS and Airflow and comfortable working with engineering and data warehousing partners
  • Proficiency in a business intelligence tool (e.g. preferably Looker)
  • High proficiency in writing SQL queries and knowledge of cloud-based databases like Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query, or other big data solutions
  • Experience with a programming language (e.g. R and Python)
  • Experience with exploratory data analysis, testing hypotheses, performing analyses, modelling business processes, building forecasts, creating predictive models, defining metrics, and/or measuring business performance
  • Data modeling, ETLs, data warehousing, pipeline development using Airflow
  • Comfortable working with a multi-functional team, that could be cross geo and remote
