Position Title: Director, Program Management

External Description:

The EA Technology Growth Strategy team creates forward-thinking momentum for EA to evolve, keep the roadmap relevant to changing needs and build an innovation-focused environment to stay ahead of the curve. As a Director, Program Management, you will guide planning for multiple programs and ensure seamless operations across all of them. You will work in close collaboration with other PMs, product managers, analysts, designers, and developers to be the voice of our players and creators.

Responsibilities

  • You will lead planning of large-scale company wide programs in collaboration with multiple disciplines and teams across EA.
  • You will build the operational plan/project schedule for the team and make it always visible to management and partners, and bring it through to completion.
  • You will proactively assess and mitigate risk for assigned scope.
  • You will ensure the team has solid organizational structure and practices that allow them to produce high-quality work on time and on budget.
  • You will establish, implement, monitor, prioritize, optimize, and help to automate key processes such as project and capacity planning, progress tracking, and team-wide collaboration and communication.
  • You will keep stakeholders up-to-date with progress on key projects.
  • You will define short- and long-term KPIs to establish success criteria and maintain these to track project quality, delivery, and predictability.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in program management, business, product, program, operations and/or engineering management experience.
  • Track record of successfully leading the creation of many high quality, large-scale software products
  • Substantial project management background in Agile development of large software codebases within a distributed, global development environment that spans multiple locations
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative forecasting/modelling skills with a focus on data-informed decision-making.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization
  • Strong project management skills and ability to present to executive staff
  • Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment, to excel at an extremely fast pace, and to find creative ways to get things done

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $157,450 - $245,500
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $154,950 - $245,500
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $154,950 - $245,500
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $154,950 - $223,350
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $154,950 - $223,350

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
