Respawn Entertainment is a AAA game development studio that was founded in 2010 by former co-founders of Infinity Ward and creators of the multi-billion dollar Call of Duty and Modern Warfare franchises. We shipped Titanfall and Titanfall 2 to critical acclaim, and recently shipped a free-to-play battle royale game in the Titanfall universe, Apex Legends. We are hiring for our Apex Legends team. The opportunity to create ground-breaking games with some of the best developer talent in the industry awaits our future team members.
The Quality Engineering team at Respawn is a group of world class software developers who work as a direct partner to both the game development and worldwide teams to ensure our games meet the highest possible standards in a fun environment.
We build tools and automated solutions to support the quality initiatives defined by our partners. We work across all technology areas (coding, A.I., data,) to improve the current gold standard for game experience through large-scale automated gameplay and big data processing on live player data to inform the manual test effort on potential risk and coverage gaps.
In this role you will be reporting to the Engineering Manager in a diverse environment where you have the opportunity to learn something new every day. You will have the option to work onsite, hybrid, or fully remote from an EA office in Canada or USA.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will participate in all aspects of the software development process
- You will develop features to support our games
- You will support our partners through day-to-day user feedback, documentation, and one-on-one training
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- 2+ years of experience with at least one of the following: C#, C++, Python, or Java
- Experience with database and/or web technologies
- Experience with Agile development
- A passion for video games
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $106,900 - $158,600
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $94,450 - $158,600
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $94,450 - $158,600
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $94,450 - $133,100
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $94,450 - $159,250
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
