Vice President-Development Operations 

This VP role, reporting to the COO, Studios, , leads a team that creates and administers processes to enable the best development practices and outcomes. This team will deliver a portfolio view of EA’s overall business, and guide analysis to balance risk across projects and content teams. You will partner with innovation leaders across the company to ensure that EA games set the standard for quality player experiences and new ideas. You will drive process that connects the strategic vision to the operational management of Shared Partner and Studio Operations teams. You will demonstrate the mix of business, technical, and managerial capabilities from the PC, Console, Mobile and Live Services arenas. This position can be remote or hybrid from an EA office. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • You will create executive visibility and ensure agreement on portfolio status, opportunities and risk mitigations. 
  • You will lead and cultivate the Development Operations community, continuing to push the boundaries of the craft by promoting transformative strategic programs across Studios. This will include development and socialization of best practices related to knowledge/information management, efficiency, and predictability. 
  • You will drive operational excellence in the Shared Partners groups through strategic initiatives, KPIs, business reviews, financial oversight, and a multi-year operating plan. 
  • You will interface with stakeholders across development and corporate functions to drive actions & alignment across Shared Partners groups. 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • 10 years of experience with broad strategic operational planning, delivering quality products within agreed-upon time frames and budgets. 
  • 5 years of experience within games and entertainment, understanding game development cycles, complexities of production and business' nuances while partnering and influencing with quality verification, CTO, analytics, and Finance. 
  • You have credibility building skills with many different departments of the business. 
  • You have experience leading in a global organization(s) with multi-location development. 
  • You have demonstrated ability to achieve results leading through influence. 

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
