In this hybrid role based in Austin, the Bay Area, or Orlando you will report to the Sr Manager Engineering for Employee Experience in IT where you'll convert business requirements into technical architecture with a design that will be the blueprint for front-end applications and backend services. You'll be the technical program manager that leads with empathy while challenging the team to accomplish more.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and forecast development efforts, create detailed in-scope project plans, manage risk while driving a strategic technical vision throughout implementation.
  • Manage product roadmaps, feature prioritization, project delivery, and technical solution architecture for both custom and packaged products.
  • Produce detailed technical documentation, architecture, and workflow diagrams.
  • Collaborate with partners to define technical product, program, and platform strategy, feature, short-term and long-term goals.
  • Apply a data-driven approach to provide definition for a system, integrating user feedback and requirements into ongoing product experience updates.

 Requirements

  • Understanding of cloud platform services such as AWS, Azure, and Google GCP.
  • Experience architecting and developing in a server-less platform (e.g. AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
  • Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and diagram tools such as Visio and Omnigraffe.
  • Understanding of architecture models and paradigms (e.g. TOGAF, SOA, function oriented architecture).
  • General knowledge of: HTTP, SSL, DNS, Active Directory Forests and LDAP, MySQL, SQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Networking (routing, load balancing, firewalls, tcp/ip, udp), SSH, SCP, Windows and Linux server management, Python, and Node.js.
  • Experience implementing SSO solutions such as Okta, NetIQ, Oracle, Sailpoint, and Dell One.
  • B2B/B2C portfolio (5+ years), spanning both web and mobile, that reflect engineering excellence.
