As an EA SPORTS™ FC .NET Full Stack Software Engineer, you are an essential part of the game creation process and are involved in the architectural design and implementation of the Content Tools.

Your Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced .NET Full-Stack Software Engineer with demonstrable web development experience and an in-depth understanding of C#/.NET and Single Page Application frameworks. You should have experience in both designing and developing RESTful applications, and have a desire to deliver without sacrificing quality.

Our team is responsible for delivering the tools that are used by Live Content producers to support many dynamic features in our game.

  • You will work with internal partners to design, develop, and deliver new features or upgrade existing ones
  • You will ensure quality of the code by participating in the code reviewing process
  • You will solve complex technical issues in a time-sensitive fashion
  • You will coach junior team members

Required Technical Skills

  • C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core, REST API
  • Single Page Application frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js
  • Experience with writing efficient SQL queries
  • Experience with source control software such as Git or Perforce
  • Excellent debugging skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • High level of proficiency with C# and a good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience in designing maintainable, structured, and documented code
  • Experience with object-oriented design patterns
  • Experience communicating effectively with other engineers, producers, and designers

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $143,150 - $221,750
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $130,600 - $221,750
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $130,600 - $221,750
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $130,600 - $210,000
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $130,600 - $181,850

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
