Your Responsibilities:

  • The Technical Artist (TA) acts as a bridge between the Artists and Engineers. They  work closely with Art Teams, Project Managers, and Software Engineering teams. 
  • Responsibilities include production workflows, tools, pipelines, asset optimization/integration and shader development.
  • Technical Artists are expected to assume ownership over various technical aspects of creating art that arise on their project and bring them to resolution.
  • Technical Artists report to Technical Art Directors on the team.

Your Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years of game production experience.
  • Experience working on multiple hardware platforms.
  • Effective at communicating with different audiences: Artists, Engineers, Managers.
  • Proficient scripting/programming in Python and C#. (C++ is a bonus, but is not required).
  • Expert knowledge of 2D and 3D digital content creation packages: Maya/Houdini/Photoshop preferred.
  • Experience with game optimization challenges, and solutions.
  • Desire to push for quality solutions when resolving technical challenges.
