Software Engineer Intern - TS4 Tools

Job Summary

At Maxis, we're looking for a Tools Software Engineer intern to build developer tools that will streamline processes and aid implementing new features. You will work with an experienced engineering team and will report to a Development Manager at Maxis.

Working on The Sims 4 Tools team will expose you to solving large scale workflow challenges associated with content-heavy live game service that has a globally remote, distributed, and diverse workforce.

 

Requirements

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program and are slated to graduate between Fall 2023 through Spring 2024. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full time basis during the 12-week internship in the Summer 2023. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Qualifications

• C# and/or C++ for Tools
• Experience with Algorithms and Data Structures

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the hourly pay range for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

HOURLY PAY RANGES

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $16 - $18

The hourly rate is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
