Position Title: Operations Product Manager 1

External Description:

The RTO Release Manager will be part of a motivated team that can provide cross-functional and cross regional support to ensure there is always coverage for projects in both the Central European and Pacific time zones. The RTO Release Manager will be an expert in their platform and provide support for all release management activities and guidance on First Party requirements, setup and configuration across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • You will manage the metadata submission process. Partner with the GOC RTO team in Hyderabad to ensure that all activities are performed to a high standard. Resolve issues and escalations raised by the GOC RTO team.
  • You will maintain productive and professional relations with First Party partner contacts for the platforms (typically release and account managers).
  • You will maintain a close partnership and professional relationship, always aiming to make process improvements.
  • You will maintain complete knowledge of all business models (Subscription, EA Access, Digital & Packaged), Edition and Content planning processes including the materials required for smooth and successful submissions by collaboration with Digital Operations teams, EACC test hubs/QA/Dev through to the First Parties.
  • You will work with GOC Leadership to accomplish global submissions strategy such as supporting new business models including Subscription, Streaming, expansion to new markets and to agree on ongoing projects and daily operational topics.
  • You will partner with colleagues within specific platform vertical to hand-off important projects at end of day, facilitating global time-zone coverage on time - important projects.
  • You will maintain a complete understanding of all product schedule dependencies and need on a global scale.
  • You will engage with studio personnel, GOC PLM Franchise team, EACC Operations staff, and EACC Management to establish First Party bodies re-submission schedules and resolve conflicts before they arise.
  • You will ensure maximum coordination and communication world-wide based GOC teams.
  • You will provide on-site support for AAA titles in final cert stage.
  • You will train the GOC RTO team into an excellent service organization, trained on specific toolsets for global territories.
  • You will assist Management in official interactions with external partners.
  • You will manage other general Submissions process interactions and communicate status to partners according to established Certification/Rating/First Party submissions service level agreements.
  • You will conduct presentations to Studio or QA personnel worldwide, advocating the GOC RTO Submissions agenda and getting feedback on services.
  • You will manage the delivery of software and documentation submission packages into First Parties for platforms/projects assigned.
  • You will provide training for the GOC RTO team in Hyderabad and Romania.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience working with numerous partners in a project environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in coordination of delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Co-operate, collaborate and work towards a common goal together with other partners and team members.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is required for the role.
  • Be the mentor for other team members
  • Expert on at least one 1st Party Platform
  • Project coordination of multiple projects at once.
  • Team management/mentorship
  • Experience handing off tasks to other team members and picking up already started tasks to bring them to completion as a team.
  • Experience coordinating projects to schedule and people

Desirable Experience:

  • Knowledge of the technical requirements of multiple console manufacturers and associated tools.
  • Experience with video games is advantageous.

Special Considerations

  • To provide support during Pacific Standard Time, a night shift is established within the team.
  • The Real-time Operations department is a dynamic part of the business where there are peak periods of activity therefore you have a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends.
  • Taking annual leave during these periods is limited.
