Development Directors at EA Korea Studio

The Development Director is a unique position at EA, which has been continuously growing both quantitatively and qualitatively over a long period of time. As a DD, you can enjoy valuable opportunities to advance your professional career.

 

[Key Responsibilities]

  • Working with Technical Director and QA to establish hands-on development and testing processes for multiple development teams
  • Set up and operate projects for each team in tools such as Jira
  • Increase productivity by improving development processes and communication
  • Identify and address project risks
  • Responsible for communication and issue resolution between multiple teams and job groups
  • Manage resources, processes and build schedule efficiently

 [Qualifications]

  • Experience in live service operation or game development project management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Jira, Notion or equivalent project management tools
  • Excellent logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • More than 8 years of related work experience in the game/IT industry (project management, development/planning/art, QA, operation)
  • Experience managing and releasing AAA games or large-scale software projects

 [Preferred Skills]

  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Professional Working Proficiency in English
  • Degrees related to game development, such as computer engineering
  • Ability to communicate with developers and non-developers about the overall game development and processes
  • More than 8 years experience in software development management/team leading(Project Manager, Program Manager, Producer, or equivalent position)
  • Experience working in cross-functional organization or leading large-scale projects/services
  • Resource and budget management skills
