Maxis is looking for an Associate Producer to join our Live Service group for The Sims 4. Live Services is responsible for the quality of The Sims 4 core game; expanding upon diversity, equity, inclusivity and accessibility through content and improvements to enhance our players' experience. You will report to a Producer on The Sims 4.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee our SDX releases from start to finish; managing concept, scope, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Use knowledge of DEI and our Sims' players to conceptualize new monthly releases
  • Drive monthly themes to studio leadership team
  • Collaborate with the art director, concept artists, engineering and designers on releases
  • Coordinate with brand and marketing teams on go-to-market strategy
  • Establish schedules for releases with development directors
  • Track community feedback to inform strategic decisions
  • Analyze the performance of releases
  • Schedule, run, and document meetings
  • Prioritize and help resolve emergent issues
  • Write, edit, and approve player-facing text
  • Review and demo in-development software
  • Field bugs and assess their priority and risk
  • Approve test plans
  • Identify and champion process improvements

 

Qualifications:

  • You have an interest in and knowledge of live service operations
  • You have professional experience on a published game for PC, console, or mobile
  • You have gone through more than one full development cycle for a base game or DLC, or part of more than one live service season
  • You are capable with tools for quality tracking, documentation, version control, and brainstorming
  • You love videogames; knowledge of The Sims is a significant plus!
  • You have a passion for DEI and Accessibility
