Position Title: Senior Environment Artist
External Description:
Reporting to the Principal Art Director you will help create the visual and gameplay experiences for the immersive and rich worlds our players inhabit. The Senior Environment Artist II will partner with all relevant disciplines in the creation of unique biomes, architecture, flora, and geology from prototype to final assets. You love to study the world around you, are fascinated with the history of architecture, and delight in applying you're artistic and technical abilities to make beautiful gameplay worlds that engage our players to explore.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Creative and Technical leadership in the creation of environment content that supports gameplay, environmental world building, and storytelling.
- Work with Creative leadership to ensure product environment style is consistent with larger product goals.
- Research, develop and recommend construction and pipeline best practices/improvements in the creation of high-quality environment content.
- Work with Technical Art and Engineering team to ensure that environment assets are optimized and performant while maintaining visual quality.
- A portfolio/reel that demonstrates your aesthetic and technical environment skills. Please make sure to include samples that demonstrate the creation of biomes, architecture, flora and geology.
- Minimum 10 years' experience as an environment artist/designer in the video game industry.

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES

º $108,700 - $166,550
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $107,450 - $166,550
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $107,450 - $166,550
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $107,450 - $153,250
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $107,450 - $153,250
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
