We are looking to fill a Quality Designer (QD) role within the DTS organization, reporting to a Development Director, to help accomplish the quality strategy.

QV (Quality Verification) oversees the end-to-end quality of our products. You will work directly with our partners to verify the quality of the end-to-end-user experiences

Who you are:

  • Use a Player First approach while thinking about the Quality our players receive. Be the voice of QUALITY
  • Perform QV testing strategies for our current products to verify content, software/game functionality, and application releases while working with our partners to resolve bugs
  • Work in partnership with Quality Designers, Product Owners, Development Managers, and peers to improve our quality impact upstream in the development and content creation process
  • Work collaboratively within high-performance teams (e.g. product managers, developers, UI, and UX designers) to champion product quality for our clients
  • You have experience providing mentorship to other team members on QA best practices and methodologies
  • Can work within a hybrid model between the office and home

What you will do:

  • Help improve quality methodologies /processes within the organization to increase efficiency and redundancy
  • Escalate important issues, blockers, and risks promptly to minimize the impact on project timelines
  • Recognize, adapt, reporting and monitors changes towards existing priorities and strategy
  • Monitor and/or reports and collects feedback from team members ( usability, clarity) and our Players that lead improvements over existing product, process etc
  • Connect with partners to influce best practices, decisions or immediate change based on research ed facts or trends
  • Assisted in Release management and applying risk-based testing strategies within your area and apply established tactics toward introducing efficiency into how and where we test

Do you have:

  • Over 4 years Quality Analyst and testing lead experience
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) and DevOp
  • You have experience providing mentorship to other team members on QA best practices and methodologies
  • Experimental mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Familiarity with Origin, EA App and other EAX products and offers
  • Experience with PC & Web testing tools (Fiddler, Wireshark, Browser Dev Tools, etc.)
  • Experience working with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Bug Prevention and Containment strategies
