Role Overview:

Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team plays a critical role in providing strategic partnership to leaders across EA. In this role, you will be effectively engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, analyzing data, and delivering insights to help drive EA's current and future performance. You will report to the Director ,FP&A and partner with our Consumer Marketing and Insights team as well as our Marketing Operations & Technology teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Business Partnering
    • You will provide deep financial analysis focused on a variety of areas such as investment optimization, maximizing profitability and resource allocation
    • You will prepare, hold, and present business reviews for leaders focused on the story (not just data) with clear insights and actionable presentation material
    • You will drive results by partnering on business-related projects such as modeling business scenarios and tracking performance metrics
  • Financial Close, Forecasting, Reporting and Analysis support
    • Oversee and partner with the head of CMI  on the campaign activation budget across our entire Portfolio of titles. Responsible for the optimization of Media investment and complexity associated with go to market strategy and partnerships across each franchise.
    • Own the annual and quarterly forecast across the CMI and MOT business units and provide insightful analysis to highlight variance drivers and identify opportunities to mitigate risk / improve performance
    • Partner with the Accounting group to manage Close deliverables, timelines, process and reporting
    • Design and implement reporting tools to provide further transparency and visibility to enable flexibility in spend and analysis.
  • Drive FP&A Excellence
    • You will manage and develop 3 direct reports
    • You will identify and lead projects to continuously improve, standardize and automate forecasting and reporting tools and processes

Experience and Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 7 years of related financial experience
  • Experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
  • Proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge
  • Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint expertise required, knowledge in Anaplan and Power BI and Oracle preferred
