Arows Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer on the Quality Engineering team, you will be a part of helping the Arows BU adopt different technology or create new software to improve the way we work. Specifically around the use of ML and AI solutions in the test space.

We need a capable generalist that is happy to "jump in and learn" as the technology we work on can range from full-stack web development, small made for purpose tools, big data solutions to working with AI. Your capabilities must encompass excellence in development practices, leading of internal growth and develop sound technical plans that produce a meaningful impact on the business.

Responsibilities

  • You will research and design solutions tied with ML and AI into existing or new workflows for QA
  • You will maintain tools, integration, and technologies to support a reliable environment.
  • You understand standard software engineering processes and best practices for requirements, design, implementation and testing.
  • You will work with QA peers to determine the best items to invest in
  • You will pursue tech opportunities or solutions based on documentation in collaboration within the wider EA Quality Engineering organization.
  • You communicate with all company partners on goals and strategy.

Requirements

  • You have a Computer Science Degree, Computer Engineering Degree, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience with ML or AI or have a degree in either
  • You have software development experience in C++ and C#.
  • You communicate with our partners and you know how to translate technical information into terms that are more easily understood by our non-technical partners
  • You understand how to prioritize your work and how to highlight what will bring the most value to our partners.
  • You can work with customers with a diverse set of backgrounds and needs – able to speak their language, appreciate their challenges, and maintain their respect.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
  • Knowledge of gaming consoles an asset
