The Challenge Ahead

This centralised and remote group of professionals leads investigations into workplace concerns and our goal is to have a safe, inclusive, and inspiring workplace for our people. We are looking for a People Relations Program Manager with expert experience navigating complex workplace concerns such as retaliation, discrimination, and harassment. You will report to the Global Sr. Director of People Relations and will directly lead a remote team of professional investigators.

Responsibilities

  • Review investigation reports to ensure findings and analysis are legally sound and thoroughly documented
  • You will consult with and guide the People Relations team while navigating investigations.
  • Be an escalation point within the investigation process and will conduct investigations
  • Conduct quality checks of cases to ensure investigations and employee experience steps are followed
  • Make recommendations for refining, streamlining, and improving processes to improve future needs
  • Oversee project planning
  • Consult with partners as an subject matter expert
  • Provide visibility on risk assessments by collaborating with leadership, People Experience (HR) partners, Legal and other partners
  • Recommend solutions to address issues from a systematic perspective
  • Maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality
  • Identify important trends to promote proactive solutions to minimise reactive work and to build organisational capability
  • Provide training and best practice sharing with other teams 
  • Partner and maintain collaborative relationships with People Experience, Legal, DEI and other colleagues

Requirements

  • knowledge in Employee Relations with experience conducting investigations related to discrimination, harassment, and retaliation
  • Experience writing position statements or other legal documents
  • Project management experience
  • Experience interpreting data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Develop training materials and presenting to large groups
  • Empathetic with a genuine desire to provide a positive experience and inclusive culture
  • Collaborative
  • Awareness of need to adjust based on a variety of factors
  • You can navigate multiple partner involvement
  • Objective, fair, and compliant with local and federal laws
  • Experience using data to identify insights that drive action
  • Comfort navigating ambiguous and sometimes complex situations
  • You can provide a positive employee experience through confidentiality

  • Some occasional travel may be required
  • Global experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 8+ years of progressive Employee Relations or HR Business Partner experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and interpretation of relevant HR best practices, employment law standards and workplace investigative protocols
  • Genuine desire in promoting a fair, inclusive, and positive work environment for all
