Position Title: Senior Artist

As a Senior Modeler at Motive, you will work closely with our Art Director and Lead Modeler to deliver, polish and implement outstanding quality 3D art assets. You will also contribute to the art pipelines and help create, integrate, organize, and manage assets across all game art disciplines.

Work task examples:

  • 3D modeling
  • UV-mapping
  • Implement 3D assets to game engine
  • Texture creation
  • Shader and animation setup
  • Visually tweaks on 3D meshes according to Art Direction
  • Optimization according to performance guides

Qualifications:

You have a Thorough knowledge of the game development process, and: 

  • A strong working knowledge of Maya/Max/Blender/Fusion 360 and ZBrush and Substance Painter.
  • A keen eye for spatial composition and building believable scenes.
  • A passion for pushing the state of the art in asset fidelity and production techniques.
  • An expertise in low and hi-poly modeling for video games.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and initiative.
  • Experience with hard surface modeling.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional requirements (nice to have):

  • You are an avid gamer.
  • You have experience in industrial design.
