Position Title: Senior Manager, Analytics

External Description:

Frostbite is EA's state-of-the-art multi-platform game development engine. Our global team empowers game creators to shape the future of gaming by developing creative engine features and outstanding tools.

We are looking for an Analytics Manager to support the Frostbite team. You will lead an analytics team to provide data-driven insights, infrastructure, and reporting. The goal is to improve the quality, productivity, and usability of Frostbite’s users and developers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build a collaborative and inclusive analytics team culture
  • Manage your team to create impactful insights, and grow their technical and soft skills
  • Oversee management of analyst deliverables, including capacity planning and prioritization
  • Perform analysis on the complexities of how the team develops the game engine and how content creators use it. Translate your findings into recommendations for features and action plans
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to your team on approaching problems, selecting methodologies, and performing analysis
  • Work with various functions of the business to understand their needs, and guide your team to translate analysis into recommendations for them
  • Lead the team's presentations of our current trends and latest findings
  • Provide data-driven insights to senior partners to aid growth strategies and guide important decisions
  • Build partnerships across the organization, becoming a trusted partner and managing expectations

Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience in quantitative analysis with a background in consumer products or experiences
  • 3+ years experience managing team members in a formal or informal capacity
  • Bachelor's degree minimum / Master's degree preferred in Business, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field
  • Experience analyzing large-scale data to make recommendations based on business context
  • Experience leading presentations to large groups and senior management
  • Excellent project management skills to build analysis plans with clearly defined ownership and risks
  • In-depth knowledge of quantitative techniques such as: regression, classification, forecasting, and clustering
  • Excellent SQL skills; experience with big data ecosystems
  • Experience using statistical software such as R or Python
