The Role:

The Chief of Staff, reporting to the CFO, will provide strategic and practical execution of the CFO's vision, develop and support aligned, operational plans to improve an organizations effectiveness while building relationships within the Finance Leadership Team and partners to allow departmental successes. You will be the trusted strategic advisor and lead the processes by which the Finance organization sets priorities, establishes important outcomes and measures the success for the function each fiscal year. You will provide communications and continuity between the internal departmental lines of business, determine best use of department's resources to achieve the department's annual priorities and goals, and achieve large, programs such as organizational design, career development roadmaps, leadership workshops, and other high profile departmental meetings. You will partner with PE (People Experience) to engage in organizational design, development of career roadmaps, leadership workshops, employee recognition programs, next gen talent recruitment and DEI programs.

Responsibilities

  • You will contribute to the leadership of the Global Finance Team; ensure best-practices in business management, change management, and promoting an inclusive and collaborative work environment
  • You will guide the Finance teams Management Operating System (MOS) and ensure the office of the CFO and Finance Leadership Team are well-functioning
  • Build best-in-class Finance projects
  • Facilitate Finance-wide meetings and workshops to ensure desired outcomes are met and defined actions and follow ups are managed
  • You will have responsibility over communications, budget planning and management for Finance
  • You will lead efforts to improve the delivery of Finance services to the business; lead efforts to implement and foster business-facing Finance tools

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of driving operational best practices to success
  • 8+ years of project management skills, with an ability to bring multiple projects to completion through influence and relationship building through trust, respect, competence and confidence
  • Influence without authority while adapting to change with grit, passion, perseverance and sense of humor
  • Financial business experience with an ability to frame issues within the context of goals
  • Analytics-orientation using data to frame issues and influence outcomes
  • Values the team's success with high work quality and precision
