The Challenge Ahead:

The Project Manager (Development Director) will be a part of the Studio Data and Insights (SDI) team within DTS. More specifically, this role will support the studio Maxis, creator of The Sims franchise.  You will work directly with our embedded-and-dedicated data analytics teams that support Maxis, and help  to bring increased visibility, credibility, and communication to the team's workload and project development.

What a Development Director (DD) does at EA:

You will partner closely with our Analytics leads working on multiple studio projects to help prioritize work, run scrum ceremonies, and own the Jaas backlog.  You will support the Analytics teams by work with our partners in Game Design, Product Management, Engineering,, Brand Management, Marketing, Finance and Commercial. As part of the Game Development Framework, you will get experience balancing analytics workloads that range from reactive requests to longer term R&D projects spread over many sprints.

The next great Project Manager (Development Director)  has:

  • Minimum of 5 years working as a project manager and/or Scrum Master
  • 3+  years working in a Software Development industry
  • Extreme comfortability working in work tracking tools (e.g. JIRA or JASS)
  • Experience managing both internal and external teams
  • Various negotiation and conflict resolution tools in your toolbelt
  • Comfortable talking across and presenting to all levels of an organization
  • Effective and consistent sprint reporting to partners
  • Keen ability to always know the status of your projects and quickly visualize
  • Passionate about managing analytics / data teams
