Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Audio Artist who can join our team and make an immediate contribution to all aspects of audio development within EA.

You would work within the EA Create Audio team and collaborate on all other aspects of game development (i.e. Art, Animation, Engineering, Design, Production and Marketing) to push the quality bar for game audio. You have a passion for Football and for video games, with an overwhelming desire to create an outstanding audio experience.

You will report into the Project Manager and Audio Director and collaborate with game teams, central staff and the community at large. You are an important part of your audio team and identify risks, share solutions, seek resources internally and externally to your teams and contribute with a positive, inclusive attitude.

Responsibilities

• You will build partnerships with our development teams and represent EA Create Audio accordingly
• Working with the Audio Director and Project Manager, you will define deliverables and produce delivery schedules
• You will document data structures, workflows and best practices
• You will communicate designs, best practices and risks to your team and the greater EA community
• You will co lead our audio creative design and vision following our team's goals and vision of the title.
• You will onboard and mentor junior audio artists

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' game/audio experience and Gen 4 and Gen 5 console title experience
• Experience of new technologies and processes in the interactive audio field
• A broad experience using game development tools, technology and pipelines
• An expert with modern audio creation equipment, software and recording techniques, with a high level of proficiency in at least one DAW
• Expertise in mixing triple AAA games for multiple target playback environments at a high-quality
• Leadership experience on a production team
• Outstanding sound design skills, with artistic and creative sensibilities
• Passion for Football and for Madden NFL
