Position Title: Sr Software Engineer I

Ripple Effect, an evolution of Battlefield's DICE LA, is a Los Angeles and Vancouver-based game studio on a mission to build community-first experiences through continuous innovation and boundary breaking technology.

We are looking for a Lead Gameplay Software Engineer like you with a passion for leading teams to develop exciting gameplay underpinned by technical excellence. You will be challenged to collaborate with a cross discipline leads team to lead the technical prototyping and production of new gameplay systems, then improve and polish them to perfection. There are also opportunities to build gameplay systems that will be reused across multiple EA titles, and to collaborate with world-class engineers across North America and Europe.

 

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience 
  • Several shipped games, preferably across PC and console
  • Excellent C++ coder
  • Experience building a variety of gameplay systems
  • Creative prototyping skills
  • Great collaborative skills with developers across crafts
  • Ability to drive great work from other engineers
