The Safe and Fair Play team defines the strategy for helping players stay safe and have a fair game across EA's products. We bring together practical experience eliminating and mitigating harmful and disruptive behaviors with technical expertise in developing high-scale, performant runtime systems. As a Technical Product Manager, you will develop and oversee the technical product roadmap for Safe and Fair Play, collaborating with our technical and game team partners to lead discovery and planning for new capabilities while enhancing and evolving our existing portfolio of services. You will report to the Director of Safe and Fair Play, engage directly with many of our game teams, and translate our vision & goals into a pragmatic delivery plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Solicit ideas and feedback, create wireframes and workflows, write specs, and coordinate across teams and groups to create player journey maps, story maps, and product vision documents that support the Safe and Fair Play product vision.
  • In close partnership with the Director of Safe and Fair Play, develop the multi-year portfolio roadmap of services and capabilities necessary to achieve that vision, reflecting both existing and proposed new products.
  • Develop guidelines and prioritization tools to help game teams and partners understand the strategy, review and prioritize their roadmaps, and identify new opportunities.
  • Lead player-focused product delivery for new services and capabilities in close collaboration with partners and game teams, ensuring transparency through regular communication about feature releases and work-in-progress.
  • Guide strategic product decisions through evaluation of market trends and player feedback and perform retrospective and prospective analysis of product performance.
  • Contribute to research and discovery of growth areas to lead to insights that can help evolve the player experience.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Technical Product Management experience
  • Experience developing and refining strategic vision paired with a product roadmap
  • Experience gathering input, communicating a strategy and creating shared plans with partners
  • Skilled at visualizing and explaining complex experiences and workflows using tools like Miro, Figma, Lucidchart, xmind, Visio, or similar
  • Experience working with technical teams to ensure the products they build meet the needs of the partners and customers that use them
  • Experience with data-informed product design and analytical decision-making
