Position Title: Senior Environment Artist 2

External Description:

Full Circle is a studio that was formed in 2021 and we’re working on the next evolution of skate. We are proud to build a team that is geo-diverse, and while our home studio is based in Vancouver, BC., our team members have the flexibility to either work from home, in the office or a hybrid of both. We prioritize inclusivity and diversity in our studio and we continue the push to be better every day. 

We are looking for a Senior Procedural Artist to help us on this incredible endeavor. You will report to the Environment Director.

What you’ll do

  • As a member of the art team, act as the glue between the World Art, Tech Art, and World Design teams to prototype and create new efficient ways of building the game world.
  • Work with Houdini and Frostbite to prototype tools and workflows for the art team to use.
  • Work with the Environment Director to ensure that the procedural tools are able to uphold the visual quality of the game world.
  • Work with the tech art and engineering teams to help establish performance and memory budgets to set achievable targets for world density.
  • Work with the tech art and engineering teams to ensure that our procedural tools and workflows are working within our memory and performance budgets.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ Years Experience on Video Game production teams.
  • Experience shipping environment content in an intermediate to senior role on 2-3 shipped console/PC titles.
  • 2+ years working with a procedural tool set such as Houdini.
  • Experience with many different methods for creating a game world including modular systems and usage of procedural tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of how to manage content for games in an optimized and performant manner.
  • A degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Visual Design, or related diploma or certificate.
