What does a XD Manager do?

As the XD Manager, you'll report to Frostbite's Senior XD Manager. You'll build and mentor a global team of designers with an emphasis on career growth. You will promote best practices, such as evolving our design system and improving our user research practice. You'll also collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other partners to align business goals and customer needs, and plan XD efforts for upcoming Frostbite releases.

Who we're looking for

You'll be an advocate for user experience, product consistency, and design excellence. You like to refine the design process, and enjoy working behind the scenes to identify and remove potential roadblocks. You're experienced at creating roadmaps by balancing asks with team capacity, and providing visibility and insights for the design team, and partners.

Your experience includes:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the UX industry, including creating and evolving process and systems to support UX design practices.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing teams.
• Experience working in design projects with diverse teams across multiple locations, working on concurrent running projects.
