Respawn Entertainment is a AAA video game development studio that aspires to create new hit games that leave a lasting impact for gamers worldwide. Our work includes the critically acclaimed multi-platform games Apex Legends and Titanfall franchise.

As a Publishing Producer, you drive execution on a cross-functional central teams to build and launch a AAA mobile game. This role reports to the Production Director and would work closely with the lead producer, other development directors & product leads to ensure we are properly prioritizing features, understanding resource limitations and delivering a quality product that aligns with our goals.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the product publishing process, development processes, organizing large backlogs and working with multi-disciplinary teams from the concept phase through to live service. This candidate has experience in mobile development, free to play games, virtual economies and ideally the mobile FPS market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage schedules, deliveries, and manage risk specific to Publishing and Release Management (Marketing, Central teams, 1st party relations, etc.) via internal and external tracking means (Jira, Trello, QQ, etc.).
  • Be the main point of contract between the Publishing Org and Development teams.
  • Manage meeting agendas and follow-up items.
  • Accountable for meeting milestone commitments.
  • Identify and track production and organizational issues to completion.
  • Keep the team informed on development results and changes.
  • Record meeting notes when needed and translate them into a coherent, organized recap and list of action items.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of production experience on software development projects.
  • Experience shipping successful games in a Producer role or higher.
  • Understand the mobile application market and business models.
  • Expertise using production tools and multimedia software applications (Jira, Trello, Confluence, MS Project, etc.).
  • Excellent conceptual and technical writing skills.
  • Change management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ownership mentality: responsible, invested in outcomes.

Bonuses

  • Experience in mobile app development or managing live services.
  • Knowledge of strategy or MMO game genres.
  • Fluent in Mandarin
