We are looking for humble but driven digital natives who are passionate about competitive gaming, football, and who want to create the future of interactive entertainment. We are setting up a global team to strategically drive competitive gaming for the EA SPORTS FIFA franchise.

 

One of the key pieces of the team is our Player Engagement role. As one of our staff members for Player Engagement, you’ll support  team and player engagement in the competitive gaming ecosystem, liaising to enhance gameplay, build content and ensure our relationship with teams and players is strong in order to build a legitimate professional ecosystem for FIFA Competitive Gaming.

Player Engagement– EA SPORTS FIFA Competitive Gaming

Responsibilities

The Staff, Player Engagement role will drive EA SPORTS FIFA’s Competitive Gaming Group’s (FCGG) initiatives and meet the needs of our players through world class integration, feedback, and engagement.

• Partner closely with all internal cross functional marketing teams, such as Community Engagement, Event Management, Marketing, CGD, and Legal and others.
• Provide comprehensive feedback reports. Recognize trends and areas of concern in competitions, events, activities, games, rules, news, and products and services. 
• Partner with marketing, community engagement, event management, CGE, and Legal teams on team and player outreach for marketing activities and more
• Support regular player briefings at events, player town halls, and smaller player and org feedback sessions
• Manage FCGG player and team tracking and communication framework. 
• Act as the first point of contact and create and manage the processes around responding to FCGG players and teams
• Manage the delivery of Project Ajay for the FCGG team ensuring all FCGG players are aware of the Mental Health services that EA and the CGE provide
• Support our team content program, enabling us to showcase teams in-game  

 

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in community management, player engagement, professional gaming experience, or tournament organizer engagement experience.
• Passion for football and EA SPORTS FIFA, Video Games, and Competitive Gaming
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize
• Marketing degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent creative and strategic thinking
• Excellent organization and tracking skills 
• Ability to build strong working relationships built on mutual trust with key stakeholders
• Self-Motivated Individual with an ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) and presentation skills required
• Capable of dealing at multiple levels across the EA business
