EA Create is a collective of content production teams partnering with EA Studios game teams to deliver outstanding visuals, audio, and technology. Our teams consist of artists, engineers, technicians, designers, and development directors. Worldwide, we combine our teams to form a global group of extraordinary individuals fueled by imagination and a unified passion for creating amazing visuals, sound, and experiences. EA Create Audio is an award-winning team creating audio content for numerous titles focused on uniting creative talents and technical expertise to guide industry-leading audio. There are many exciting projects underway, and we produce progressive audio content for in-

game products from multiple studio locations.

Role Overview

EA Create Audio is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Audio Artist with technical proficiency who can make an immediate contribution to our team supporting the development of UFC. You have experience in all phases of audio design and production, with proficiency in voice production, editing, and implementation. You have a passion for video games and an overwhelming desire to create an outstanding audio experience. You will work within the EA Create Audio team and gain a tremendous understanding of game development.

Responsibilities:

  • Database/file management and organization
  • Implement and tune commentary playback elements using proprietary scripting language
  • Search for, and edit commentary samples from live UFC events to be used in game contexts
  • Create and submit quality audio assets following the vision and goals of the title
  • Organize large volumes of files/samples  per naming convention protocols
  • Quality control review of the project(s)

Qualifications and what you will need:

  • Minimum of two years audio experience (game audio, post-production, etc.) 
  • Experience with Excel and Access ())
  • Experience using at least one game audio implementation tool and pipeline. (e.g. Wwise/Fmod/Unreal/Unity)
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages and tasks (LUA, Python, JavaScript, etc)
  • Experience using Version Control Software (Perforce)
  • Audio editing experience with at least one major DAW (ProTools, Nuendo, Reaper, etc)
  • Skilled with audio/speech design and processing 
  • Solid knowledge of PC hardware and software
  • Good creative and technical thinker
  • A positive communicator who excels as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a solution-oriented attitude
  • Comfortable working remotely

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Voice Over Recording/Direction
  • Programming Languages (C++,C#)
  • Knowledge of Mixed Martial Arts or other combat sports.
