Reporting to the Development Lead, we're looking for a Development Director (Project Manager) to manage the development of Plants vs Zombies 2! You're right for this role if you're passionate about solving difficult problems. You can collaborate and motivate often across teams and with peers or partners in other parts of the business. Your greatest strengths are building relationships, looking towards the future, and execution. You like to be challenged, and thinking about the future excites you.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will drive the delivery of features across your team:
  • Clearly explain and drive deliverables and scope and capacity to the team
  • Working on roadmap planning with team leadership to establish time and targets
  • Running sprint and milestone planning meetings
  • Proactive in identifying and escalating risks and concerns about targets for features and milestones
  • You will help drive and establish processes across our project management tools; planning, scope/capacity tracking, and establishing best practices
  • You will be a leader that embodies the values of the studio influencing how we create, develop, and work as a team
  • You will foster an engaging, fulfilling, trusting, and fun working environment that is inclusive and diverse

Your Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience as a delivery-focused Development Director or equivalent Project Manager delivering games
  • Experience with JIRA and using it for Agile and Waterfall methodologies for task tracking
  • Able to define and maintain score and capacity for your organization and map out those details into deliverables
  • Comfortable with a developing project with the ability to self-direct and take ownership to drive and adapt processes to meet the needs of the project
  • Ability to drive and maintain the partnership with production and design to achieve agreement on priorities amidst the needs of the project and our deadlines
