The Role

We are hiring for a Project and Operations leader for the SEED Team. There is an opportunity to manage a rich and impactful array of responsibilities .

Responsibilities:

  • Project Centric
  • Lead projects through influence in a diverse, virtual team environment
  • Participate in Research Vector meetings and work with team members on requirements gathering and deliverables
  • Work with the project leadership team to establish the strategy and details to meet milestones and important deliverables
  • Work with creative, development, operations partners and your team to ensure that quality, budgets and timelines are met
  • Build and own roadmaps, risk management, and project indicators
  • Develop project indicators that track project quality, delivery, and predictability
  • Lead the documentation portals such as Notion used by SEED. Keep these updated with team members
  • Operations Centric
  • Be the SEED representative to Central Operations, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and the Resource Management Office (RMO)
  • Oversee SEED finance and work with the finance partner to understand and monitor the budget, the spends and the risks and opportunities
  • As primary owner for SEED headcount planning, partner with leadership to understand hiring requirements and manage overall headcount
  • Manage contracts and licensing in partnership with legal and finance
  • Coordinate with workplace experience across locations to plan and secure the space needs for the team
  • Be the liaison for all internships, university engagements and support industry partnerships
  • Promote knowledge sharing and learning amongst the team
  • Support the growth of a successful team culture
  • Work with the GM vision to ensure the team has the best organizational structure and processes to meet quality, time and budget expectations.
  • Contribute to GM's efforts to build an engaged group with an understanding of what inspires the individuals and team

Job Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of project management and operations experience.
  • Track record and interest in handling multiple deliverables
  • Working knowledge of software development and processes.
  • Working knowledge of budgets and simple finance concepts to manage communication with EA finance partner
  • Experience delivery of important projects and operations needs
  • Work with multiple geos and support teams in multiple time zones
