Senior Rendering Engineer

We are looking for Senior Rendering Engineer to join our Star Wars FPS team. You'll report to the Lead Rendering Engineer to help us realize the look and feel for our game and deliver an incredible visual style for players.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, maintain, and document rendering systems to help the team achieve the game vision
  • Foster an effective relationship between rendering and content teams to successfully deliver features
  • Proactively identify issues, propose and implement solutions
  • Guide junior engineers and share knowledge with content and technical team members

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with C/C++
  • Experience with HLSL or other shader languages
  • History of delivering large graphics systems which satisfy content team expectations
  • Experience educating team members on rendering features and underlying principles
  • Effective communication skills - our team is distributed!

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or relevant field
  • Experience with Unreal Engine or console game development
  • Experience with memory management, multithreading, and performance optimizations
  • Aware of industry trends for real-time rendering
  • Familiarity with debugging tools such as RenderDoc or PIX
