Our CTO organization is looking for a Communications Director to act as the first contact for all CTO communications. You will foster a communication strategy for CTO that evangelizes EA's Technology Strategy and technology innovations in a consistent and impactful way while keeping our goals of Positive Play & Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) top of mind. Reporting to the Head of CTO Staff Operations, you will work cross-functionally to develop strategic communications plans to tell our stories across the organization and are directly accountable for building our internal CTO communications for events and general cross-team communications.

This role is responsible for:

  • C-Suite / Executive support: Lead and directly create content for internal speaking engagements, CTO All Hands, Business changes, and narratives and tools (websites, tech blogs, newsletters, social media, executive presentations) as it pertains to CTO and writing in the voice of the executive.
  • Partner with other CTO leaders and their communication teams to ensure communications strategies align across the business, directly contributing to content development.
  • Define and execute the integrated CTO & EA technology communications strategy, coordinating with Corporate Communications for external events, ensuring the executive is well supported for the event and internal and external messaging is aligned.
  • Manage a global schedule of internal and external events for team visibility, strategic programmatic and partnerships planning, storytelling, and communications/marketing execution.
  • Develop a roadmap for technology messaging and storytelling that is aligned with Corporate Communications, Brand, marketing, and Studios.
  • Sources inspiring stories and vignettes of technology innovation from across EA's technology teams.

Who You Are:

  • Director: 10+ years working in employee communications, communications (in-house, in government, media company or at a PR agency), marketing or journalism; with at least 2 of those years providing direct support to C-suite / senior level executives.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.
  • Experience developing technology-focused content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A writer and storyteller with the ability to distill complex concepts into digestible, easy to understand text.
  • Experience building executive presentations with a high degree of polish.
  • Comfortable managing up and across teams, and partnering with senior executives and their staff on multiple programs at a time.
  • Experience building processes tied to program management, support and execution.
  • Experience as a hands-on, contributing member of a team in a performance-driven and fast-moving company.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Expertise with both Google and Microsoft Suite of tools.
  • You also have a passion for technology, innovation, diversity in tech and great storytelling with teams around the world.
