As a Software Engineer on our Operations team you'll help maintain our primary services and infrastructure that support all the major online services for Apex Legends. Help work with our designers and content creators to inspire creativity in the online space and achieve fantastic new opportunities to our players, and achieve rock solid performance. You'll get to solve hard technical problems and work on uniquely massive scaled infrastructure opportunities! You will report to the Technical Director.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-call rotation to support Apex Legends
• Write code to support Apex Legend's online infrastructure
• Work with designers and other engineers to gather requirements and build microservices, while being a technical feature owner
• Help write and maintain technical best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of programming experience in PHP/Lua or similar language
• Experience operation/maintaining available web services
• Experience building scalable, maintainable systems
• Able to work well in a remote environment
• Experience working with cloud services such as AWS
• Prior NoSQL experience (Redis)
