Position Title: Senior Concept Artist

Become a foundational part of respectful and diverse team as we are looking for a Senior Concept Artist, Environments to join our team.

Reporting to the Principal Art Director you will help establish the look and feel of new and immersive worlds for our players to explore. You will have a passion for visual storytelling through your art by using color, atmosphere, and light within a foundation of sound production design principles. You love architecture, geology, and flora with an ability to combine the real world into something unique and inspiring. The Senior Concept Artist, Environments will combine foundational art skills with an ability to use modern 2D and 3D concept development applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Create architecture, geology, terrain, biome and flora studies.
  • Create environment set piece color palette and lighting studies that help establish product mood and tone.
  • Create industrial design and object design concept studies.
  • Research and gather necessary reference materials to guarantee a foundation of real-world principles is applied to concept development process.
  • Produce supporting style sheets that provide clarity to content creators.
  • Work with the Art and Creative Direction leadership to ensure that concept art maintains coherence with product creative goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience as a concept artist in the entertainment and video game industry.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your concept art skills.
